Substantia International has been established with a vision of creating a network of 'World Class' Logistics Parks & in-land Depots within Sub Saharan Africa. With an emphasis on serving the landlocked countries from various strategic ports in order to ensure that we are able to offer cheaper alternatives to large and small players wanting to reach the undeserved regions of the continent. Currently moving cargo inland to most countries is very expensive due to which the volume of trade gets restricted and the true potential of the region is not exploited.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

With the development of our flagship 'Logistics Park' just outside Beira in Mozambique, the Vision is taking shape. The first of the network of facilities will provide cheaper alternative to serve landlocked countries of Zimbabwe, Zambia and Malawi in addition to Southern DRC. This region is currently served from either Durban or Dar es Salaam, both of which are twice or thrice the distance as compared to Beira from all major commercial hubs in these countries.<\/p>\n

Go Green
\n<\/span>Substantia International strives to be 100% green \u2013 Carbon neutral.\u00a0 With our solar powered facility and clean ground water source + rain water harvesting, we are the only company in Beira and perhaps in Central Africa operating with almost zero carbon footprint at the same time we are not reliant on power grid or water from the government. In addition to this, we are attempting to reduce the usage of paper by making optimum use of technology. Lastly, we have replanted all trees that were uprooted because of our construction works.<\/p>\n

Depot Facilities
\n<\/span>Our flagship 'Logistics Park' just outside Beira in Mozambique comprises of 32,000 m2 of covered warehouse space and 108,000 m2 of paved open area which has of a container depot, diesel bunker for re-feuling of trucks, truck wash bay, a digital 80 ton weight bridge 800 m2 of state of the art entrance building.<\/p>\n

The first view of our, state of the art facility is our Entrance Building.\u00a0 In here you will find a security office monitoring all corners of the depot using strategically installed CCTV cameras. The building also houses a dining area, where our staff can relax for their lunch hour in an air-conditioned, catered canteen.<\/p>\n

The Building also has provision of driver\u2019s rest area, which can accommodate up to 24 drivers at any given time.\u00a0 This allows our client\u2019s drivers to rest properly not having to sleep in his truck, this also ensures that we don\u2019t give the drivers opportunity to stay inside the secured zone which can be a potential security hazard.<\/p>\n

Once you have entered our yard through the Entrance building, you will walk to our 1st<\/sup> warehouse, where you will find inside, our reception and main admin office on the Mezzanine floor, with a full view of the warehouse. The main offices consist of 1,000 m2 of office space, which is designed to have over 60 workstations besides management cabins, 2 fully equipped boardrooms and a dinning area.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
